Braxdon Last Basketball Game

I know it is a little late, but here are the last of the basketball game pictures and social after! Braxdon did a great job this year. His team was new but the won their last and final game!! Way to go BRAXDON! It was so fun to watch and support him this year. I feel that he has improved on his sport skills and has become a better team player!
Love you buddy!!
Braxdon playing a tuff defense the last game!
After the game the team got together for certificates, awards and of course FOOD. We had a great team this year and A wonderful Coach JJ Wright!! Thanks for a great season!
We were so blessed to have grandma Julie with us for the last games. Especially becuase I had forgotten my camera... So thanks to Julie we got some pictures.. THANK YOU!
As you can tell the boys had so much fun supporting each other. By the time Branson is old enough to play he will know all the rules to every sport..
(we wont complain about the weather being cold, but as you can tell by the jackets it has not been to sunny around here!!)
Such a proud mom!!!

Alligator Pond

Today was a perfect day for the beach. We were thankful our friends called us to join them at alligator pond. The boys had so much fun running around and playing with their friends. While I enjoyed siting on the beach getting some sun and talking with good friends.

Braxdon and his buddy Jonas Evans.
Braxdon and Braydon had so much catching fish with their nets, but then they decided to dare each other to jump off the Alligator head into the cold ocean.
So of course Braydon had to do something tricky.. Nice Front Fip!!
Braxdon figured feet first would be best.
Braydon digging something cool!
Branson trying to catch a big wave! Love the floaties and googles!
And of course the wonderful Shaka to end the day!

Bike Ride

Today we loaded up the bikes in the back of the truck and went over to BYUH where there is very little traffic since there was no school in session. We invited our friend Losa who lives on campus to go around the loop with us. This was Bransons first time on a bike so I was not sure how he would do, so I didnt take a bike I just walked behind them.

The GANG!
Braydon loves to ride his bike. He likes trying to jump the speed bumps. Good think his Birthday is coming up looks like he is in need of a bigger bike.
Branson did such a great job. He didn't want to keep looking up to see where he was going because he was looking down to make sure his feet were doing a good job. We went around the loop and on the home stretch he was getting confident and decided to go a head of me, so as he went around the last corner he tipped over and scratched his elbow! But he got back on and finished the ride!
Braxdon got a bike from his Auntie Solo last year for his birthday. We live on a busy road so he hasn't had much riding time. But he loved being old enough to go fast! He road longer than anyone and when he was done he couldn't believe how bad his bum hurt! haha

Furlough Fridays

Here in Hawaii they have introduced what is called Furlough Friday. It is a no school day!! So pretty much every friday is a home day. So today as I was folding clothes in my room I could hear the kids playing and when I went out this is what I found.

A Living Room War Zone.
Branson and Braydon were shooting bad guys from their fort.
As you can tell Braxdon was not effected by this while playing games on his computer.
So creative and fun. Glad to have them home each friday, it makes for exciting weekends!

BUGZY! Happy Early Easter

Many of you know that I am so ANTI pets!! I hate all animals... They stink, they poop and they shed. But when you have three little boys I guess you put aside your hates and satisfy their wants. It started with the begging for a puppy. But after much thought we decided to get a soft, quiet, low maintenance, non licking, non barking animal!

Meet BUGZY the newest member of our family. He is a small (size of my palm) lion head bunny. So far he is sweet and quiet. The boys love him so much and wake up extra early just to hold him.

Braxdon was so excited to have his FIRST pet...
I let Braydon hold him in the pet store and then we walked around for a few hours just to make sure he was not allergic.
Branson loves him, but will only hold him with a blanket or towel because Bugzy has little sharp nails that freak him out!
I hope the thrill of a new bunny will last more than a few days. They have each promised to clean the cage, feed and water him.
And lucky me I woke up with itchy swollen eyes.. Guess I should have been the one to hold him at the store!!

Me and My BOYZ

So Brandon has been nominated FAN OF THE YEAR for the BYUH Mens Basketball team. He has been privileged enough to travel to San Francisco and Seattle with the team. So while he was gone I got some time with the BOYZ! I love them so much.

1st we made home made pizza. The boys got to put their own toppings on and cook them. SO original Pepperoni and cheese!

BRAYDON

BRANSON
Then we went outside for a night jump and hot tub!
We were also able to fit in a few movie nights with popcorn and air mattress in the living room. Then the air mattress has been moved to their room for a night and then to my room for a few nights. What is it with my kids not loving their own beds!?
Then each of the boys wanted to take a turn using my camera to take the pictures. So I was a lucky mom to get my picture with them one at a time!
(Not sure why people say we look alike??? hahaha)
Braydon almost makes it seem painful!
And no matter what Branson is always ready with his Shaka!
Thank you boys for such a fun week!

TSUNAMI

This was quite the exciting adventure! My dad and Julie came to visit, they flew in on Friday night and we stayed up until about 2am visiting. And by 4:30am our phones were going nuts with Friends telling us about the Tsunami warning and that we had to evacuate our homes. So Brandon and I frantically try to get what we think we might need incase our home was wiped away. He grabbed the things in the garage and I loaded up the things inside. We then woke up Dad, Julie and the Boys. I think they all thought it was a joke! But it was SO REAL! We were instructed to head to the Church parking lot where we would spend all day until the Tsunami had either wiped the city clean or passed by quietly. I am so thankful that it passed with no damage. I dont even think the water level raised... So at about 4pm we were cleared to go back to our homes. Here are a few pictures of the day... As you can see it was a beautiful day and we were all having fun being together playing music, laughing and eating!

Dad and Branson
Brandon and Lucas. This is how they looked MOST of the day! Brandon was smart enough to load the jet skiis. NOT TO SAVE THEM.. as most people thought, but just incase people needed saving. He is always thinking of others!
What a vacation. I would want a refund if this is what I came to Hawaii for! Thanks for being such good sports!

Here are a few pictures from Julies camera that I had to add!!
Dad taking a little rest after waking up so early to prepare for the big day!
Lunch time.. PBandJ sandwiches.. Made with the smallest knife I could find.. haha
The boys were such good sports. They were having so much fun. But after lunch Branson and Grandpa took a much needed nap in the air conditioned car! Glad we had enough gas in the car for a 2 hour power nap!
Then time for more football!!!!

Friends From Arizona

We were so lucky to have our awesome friends Tawni and Dewy from Arizona!!! Tawni is having her Third boy and wanted to have a vacation before she was tied down.
We got to escape to Big Island! Thank you much for a great week! We love you!!

Tawni and I at the airport..
Dewy wanted us to pose like that Statues, but that would be such a tourist thing to do!! haha

And somethings that happen on Big Island STAYS on Big Island....
We stayed at the greatest hotel ever!! Hilton Waikoloa! And the lobby smell was to die for!

Day of Jet Skiing

So I will not bore you with the long version of our life threatening adventure. But lets just say Brandon and I are lucky to be alive. The weather looked perfect for a day of Jet Skiing and the water was Glass. So we dropped the kids off to school and headed out. We made it to Kanehoe and it started to rain, the clouds came in and before you knew it the Island was covered. There was no sign of it any where.. I was scared to death and freezing cold. Brandon was smart enough to take his phone that has a compass and he was able to direct us home. But on our way we were joined by some awesome dolphins. There were about 20 of them and they just wanted to play. They were jumping right over us and trying to keep up with the jet skis. It totally made the experience worth it.. Here are a few shots we got!

At the first sight of a fin I freaked out!!!
Yes that is ME!!! Look how close they were!

Thanks babe for the awesome adventure and the safe return home! Never a dull moment here in Hawaii! And defiantly a once in a life time experience!

Pinewood Derby

This year was Braxdons first PineWood Derby. Braxdon drew a picture on paper and told his dad that is what he wanted his car to look like! So of course Brandon got out his hammer and chisel and started to work on the car. After a few long days the car was complete and it was Beautiful! The day of the race Braxdon was so nervous, but he did great. I think you learn a lot when it is your first time competing. But Braxdon took 5th and now we know what to do better for next year!

Pocket Rockets

For Xmas the boys got a little electric motorcycle called Pocket Rocket! These little machines are so much fun and can go pretty fast! They can hold up to I think 175 lbs which means MOM gets to Ride!! Yippy!!!

The first time out Braydon was feeling pretty confident so he would go faster and faster and he would turn the corners sharper and sharper, until he finally took a pretty good crash. Good thing he was wearing his Helmet because it got a pretty good chunk taken out of it.. Now days we are taking it a bit slower!!!
