SICK.

This last week has been crazy at our home with Coughing! So finally after a week of non stop coughing I took Branson to the DR. to find out he has Bronchitis. They put him on an antibiotic and a breathing machine! Branson is so tuff, and he likes to breath on the mask because it stops the coughing.

Then today poor Braydon woke up with a sore throat AGAIN. So I took him in this morning and he has another round of Strep Throat! Mixed with allergies.

Living in Paradise is not fun when you are sick!

Braydon's 3rd Basketball Game

Braydon did great in his 3rd game last night. The defense was tuff! He got a few good shots.

Lucas and Vanessa came to the game to show their love and support. It made Braydon feel so good to have the Star of BYUH cheering him on!

Presidents DAY!

This monday for Presidents Day we took the Jet Skis and water toys to Kahana. From 8am to 2pm. Very fun and long day! Brandon is the YM President of our ward so he took some of the priest and dumped them many times on the water toy. But he promised me he would not dump the boys if I let them go! Again there are SHARKS in the ocean. But my boys don't care, they just love having fun. So Brandon pulled them out past the reef and of course my boys knew their dad couldn't dump them off, so what do they do... JUMP! But everyone had so much fun and are SAFE!

They could spend all day in the bay just playing on the toy!

Kahana is great because there is a little river where the boys could catch tadpoles. They had so much fun. Braydon tried all sorts of living environments for them. So far we know that fresh water Tadpoles cannot live buried in the sand, and they cannot live in Salt water.

Braxdon 3rd Basketball game!

Braxdon did great at his 3rd game! He always does his best and runs and hustles faster than anyone! He is such a competitive player...

Braydon is improving each game. He is getting stronger on defense. And his triple roll to the hoop is amazing!

Day at the beach.

Sorry if Beach blogging gets old, but thats what we do.. haha...

Today we took some friends from Arizona over to Kahana and took them Kayaking. They had a great time and so did the boys. They would paddle out and then jump off!! Dont they know Sharks live in the ocean.......

The boys dug a hole until they hit water and then took turns sitting in it for a picture.

It was such a beautiful day for the beach. The sun was behind the clouds so no sun screen needed!

Braxdon 2nd Basketball game!

Braxdon did great in his 2nd Game. He is improving in offense and defense. Braxdon was the jumper this game and did a great job! Look how high he can jump!!!

Braxdon was the boy who brought the ball down the court each time!

Braxdon got 2 fouls in the first Quarter.. Must take after his MOM.. haha. But he kept his hands up and did a great job. No one got a shot when he was defending them!

Unfortunately the team the went up agains is a very tuff team and these kids have played for years. We lost dramatically(40-3) but Braxdon said who cares as long as he had fun! What a good sport!

Never a dull moment

As we are getting ready to walk out the door to go to Basketball Practice we hear a HUGE THUD! I am looking out every window to find what it was. And out the front door this is what I see.....

A guy in this truck Claims he fell asleep, hit a parked car and then the power pole right in front of our house! Only missing our mailbox and Fence by inches!

The power never did go out, but I could not get out of my drive way for a few hours. But Braydon had a game at 6pm so after they moved the truck the police was nice to let me out of my driveway!

The way the Lord blesses us is amazing. Only moments before the accident Braxdon had walked next door to the store to get a water for his practice. Right where the parked car was that was hit! And we were going to practice behind the house and we always walk along the fence, and most of the time the boys are a head of me! So if only the timing had been slightly altered who knows what could have happened. I feel very blessed to have my kids and family safe!

Basketball

So I skipped the pics from Xmas because there is a million.. So I will catch up to that later..

But the boys are now starting the Basketball Season! This year they are on separate teams because of the age groups. So making games and practices are going to be exciting. Looking at the calendar we either have a practice or game everyday of the week until March! Yeah!!

But here is a look at their first games!

Braydon.. He is a great defender and shooter.

Braydon is #1 shooting the ball! I think he made 5 baskets his first game!

Braxdon is a great hustler and team mate!

He is the first one to rebound and the first one down the court! Way to go Buddy!

It is going to be a great season so prepare for lots of pictures!

Beach in December!

This is how we spend our days in December! I feel bad that Brandon is back east freezing his tush off and we are enjoying a sunny day at the beach.

This year Branson was so excited for the Christmas party at his pre school because they were going to have a snow ball fight..

Setting up the Tree!

Yes it is true you saw the tree already set up at Thanksgiving.. This year I wanted to enjoy the tree longer than just a few weeks. So we set it up the first week in November. It was so fun and defiantly brought the Christmas Spirit into our home!

So we have a pre lit fake tree which is very beautiful and then I burn a xmas tree candle and instantly the Holiday is in full swing. But Next year I think we are going for the real tree. After visiting a friends home that had a real one the smell is not the same as a candle!

I love CHRISTMAS!
