Gunstock

This past Friday Bransons pre school went on a field trip to Gunstock Ranch in Kahuku. I was so lucky to be able to go with him to enjoy the Ranch settings.. I forgot how dusty and stinky horses and goats are. As soon as we stepped out of the car Branson put his nose over his shirt and declared that it stuck so bad like poop! He kept his nose plugged most of the day!! There were 4 different stations the kids got to go to Pool, playground, hike, and horse ride!

At Gunstock they have an enclosed pool where they teach swimming lessons. So the kids got to swim for 45 min! If you know Branson you know he is like his dad and LOVES the water!
Since I did not want to swim I made him wear floaties! I am not confident enough to make sure someone else is always watching him!
Then it was his groups turn to play on the playground and have snacks. He loved the swing and slide. When I tried to swing next to him he told me it was only for little boys!
This was his other favorite thing. Some round tube that the kids would sit in and someone would push them around the grass!!
The next station was a hike up a hill, but Branson was hot and tired so I didnt get many pictures because I am a softy and had to carry him most of the way!!

But the last station was the horse ride and petting cage. There were Three horses and only 2 workers to walk them around so I said I could walk one of the horses! Branson was so scared so it made him a little bit more comfortable that I was with him! He did such a great job and after the first walk around he wanted to go again!!! I forgot how much fun horses are!!
Here is Bransons fake Smile! Pretending he is loving it so I could have a picture!
They had a cage full of baby animals. Dogs, chickens, and goats.
Thanks Bright Beginnings for all the FUN!

Braxdon and Braydon May Day

On May 13th Braxdon and Braydon performed in their school May day! They did a great job and had so much fun.

Braydon's class did a dance and song to Disney Its a Small World. Braydon of course is dressed in Samoan Lavalava and Tea Leaf.
Braydon is always smiling and so excited to perform and have fun!
Braxdon with his class did Heal the World by Michael Jackson.
Braxdon helped choreograph the dance and actions. He did such a good job.

Branson May Day

Each year in May all of the schools do a Program called May Day. Each class gets to preform a dance and it is a huge even. This year Branson got to be a part of the Bright Beginnings Preschool performance. They combined with Kahuku and the whole BYUH CAC was filled with family! Branson did such a great job. His dance was to Party in the USA!! He was so adorable and knew all his moves! We had so much fun watching him on his first performance!

Here is Branson sitting with his friends getting ready to go into the CAC to perform. He is so cute!!!! He didn't want to wear the bandana and the shirt, but when he arrived and saw all his friends in the same thing he was so excited!
Showing off his muscles!
I love his smile in this picture. He could see Lucas and he was cracking up at him!
Way to go Branson you were a star performer!

Salsa!

So you all remember the fruit and veggi co-op that I joined. Each Wed I get a box of yummy fruit and vegetables! We were able to make the best home made salsa ever! Just looking at it makes my mouth water!

Lucas and Vanessa

This past week has been such a bitter sweet week. We are so happy for Lucas and Vanessa because they got engaged this last weekend. And Brandon and I are so blessed to have been apart of it! But Today Brandon took Lucas to the airport to leave for the NBA training camps for the summer. We are so happy for his new adventure in life, but we are also very sad and selfish that we want him to stay. Lucas has been such a blessing to our lives and such a wonderful friend. He will truly be missed. We hope to be sitting court side at his first NBA game!!! Love you guys!!!
