Before School Started we all wanted to do something fun and something we have never done before while living in Hawaii. And of course who better to adventure with than the Akana Family. So here are the two adventures we made happen!
Goat Island
We loaded up the rafts, food and kids and headed out to Goat Island. While getting out of the car we could see a huge black cloud heading our way. But we were re-assured by our husbands that it would pass and be fine. So we loaded the kids on a tube, me and Jos in a raft with Branson and the food and headed over to the island. Both Brandons were honored enough to pull their families across the ocean to safety. Did I mention it poured the whole way over and the whole way back. And of course we didn't take towels because we didn't want to get them wet! Here is a little pic of the way over!
They were right, after we arrived it did clear up for about an hour. Long enough for us to eat all the food we packed and play in the beautiful water!! The bay was beautiful and we had a great time.
Diamond Head
We have never hiked to Diamond head before so for the first time we did it! Brandon was out of town so I took the boys! We had so much fun!! What a HIKE!
