Rain Rain Go Away!

After weeks of Rain we finally got a few sunny days. So we hit the BEACH!! Thanks Falatea Family and Kahana Beach for such a fun afternoon!

More BaseBall!

So I am sure my blog will be overloaded with BaseBall pictures, but I love it!! This season is so fun because the boys are at the age where they can hit and catch!  They can make plays and win games!! Yeah!!  It has been very rainy here so they have had to cancel practices and a few games. So here are the pics of the last game!

Easter 2009

This year we did the traditional dying eggs, egg hunts, Easter baskets and Easter Morning Creaps.. 

The boys had so much fun coloring eggs, I gave them each a spoon to carefully dip the egg into the dye that if splashed will stain most everything it touches. 

But of course it was a lot more fun for them to drop the egg in from about an inch above the glass...  

On Saturday we went to Gunstock Ranch for the Big Easter Egg Hunt. Where the Easter bunny rides in on a horse and the pasture is full of eggs! There are also horse rides, goat petting area, and ponies.  Of course the animals were Branson's favorite part of the whole morning. Just so you know that is NOT mud on his shoes!!!!

They split the kids into age groups so Aunty Solo took Branson and our good buddy Alani took the other two, and I ran back and forth taking pictures and getting "mud" squished between my toes!

So my least Favorite thing about holidays growing up is having to wait until the parents are ready for you to enter the room, so they can take pictures and video of your every move and excitement... So this is exactly what happens at our home. Every Holiday the boys will sleep upstairs with Solo so they cannot see or hear what is going on downstairs. Then after Brandon and I have woken up and got the cameras ready they are allowed to come down... So here they are waiting so patiently on the stairs..... 

After locating their basket that the Easter Bunny left it was time to see what was inside!!!

We were so blessed Easter morning to share this special day with Good Friends. Thank you to Vanessa, Lucas, Everton, Pri, Alani and of course Solo for getting up early to join in the Easter Bunny Excitement... I have added the link to the rest of the pictures!!! (EASTER 2009)

Spring Ball

It is that time of year again..... Spring Ball for Braxdon and Braydon..

They had their first games this past Wed, and they both did a great job!! They have great coaches and wonderful team mates.  We are blessed to live in such a great community.  Games are every Wednesdays and Saturdays, wish us luck!!!

Braydon plays First Base, but he would rather just hit. He also informed me that he does not want to go to practice anymore he just wants to play the real games...

It is so much fun to have kids in sports. It takes up every single night of the week and weekend but we are still together as a family!! Good job boys keep up the good work!!!

Flying Kites

This year the easter bunny gave the boys Kites. Living on the Windward side of the island it is always a perfect day for flying kites.  We went together as a family to the back park and had so much fun...

Spring Break

ORLANDO, FLORIDA

This year the boys had TWO weeks of Spring Break from school, so we decided we would take them to Florida. It was an amazing family vacation. They are all old enough to enjoy the journey!!!  As you can tell by our 443 Pictures that are downloaded and linked to this post we had a great time... While we were there we went to Disney world, which includes Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot!  Branson was so in love with all the characters. We had to have pictures with everyone he saw and while waiting in line for his turn he would just scream out their name and wave.  Also Braxdon and Braydon were both tall enough to ride Tour Of Terror. They were so brave and got a shirt from dad at the end!!!  

We also went to the NASA Space center, where the boys learned so much about space and the astronauts. As you can tell from the pictures we bought them each an orange jumpsuit to wear for the day. (and also halloween this year.. haha)  But they were more of an attraction than the shuttle. Everyone wanted a picture of them or with them.. They felt like stars!! Branson told everyone his name was Astronaut and would not answer to anything else the whole day!!  We were also blessed to have Brandon's mom come for one of the weeks and our wonderful Friend Kayle came to meet up with us for a few days.. 

We had such a great time.. I love my family and it is amazing how time flies when you are having fun!!  Remember to click on the "orlando Florida" to be taken to the web site with all the pictures. There are plenty so make sure you have time...

Branson wanted to be just like his brothers when they were doing their hair and putting on their clothes for picture day. So I asked if I could sneak him in for a photo shoot.. And of course they said YES. Gotta love Hawaii... But once we got there and he saw all the lights and stuff he didn't want to do it anymore.  So this is his adorable Forced smile!!

BRAYDON - Super Star

Today was the assembly at school for this Months Super Star.. Braydon had been chosen from his class and it was a total surprise to him.  Braydon is such a good student. He loves to learn!! Good job buddy on a much deserved award!!!

Today was also a big day from Braxdon, his 2nd grade class did the performance for the Super Star Assembly. He was the Cadet in charge!! Braxdon did a great job memorizing all his parts!

Braydon School Work

Braydon has always been excited for school ever since he was little and watched his older brother go.  Braydon has so much energy and is always excited about his projects. So today he shared with me a journal they had done in class. Here are a few of the sentences and pictures..

Braydon is learning how to read and his favorite books are Dr. Seuss! 

He will read this same book over and over. 

Braydon always bring joy and laughter into our home!!! He is such a good brother, always making sure if he gets a treat at school he saves just enough to bring home and share with his two brothers.  

He loves to be the class clown and he likes to make sure all his friends are happy.

Today Braxdon brought home some of the projects he has been working on in school. I was so proud and impressed at his Painting, drawing and writing I had to share...

Also in his class they have been writing Autobiographies. (I had no idea) And each child was given a bound copy to take home. It has a self portrait drawn by each child and an autobiography.  Braxdon has a great teacher, but after reading the autobiography I am thinking maybe the parents should have had a chance to proof read!!

My name is Braxdon Simmons. I am 7 years old.  I am good at running. My favorite sport is swimming.  My favorite fruit is watermelon.  I am 4 feet 7 inches. My Dad is a millionaire. My mom is good at running.  I also love reading.  My favorite book is Magic Treehouse.  But I like other chapter book's like Flat Stanly, Stuart Little and other books. Stuart Little is 28 chapters. It only take's me two hours.  I love School. It is fun.  I also watch volleyball.  BYU-H wins. I love the Olympics. My favorite sports they do are swimming, tennis, and chariot race.  My favorite person is Michel Phelps.  I love writing. My mom grew up in Idaho. My dad grew up in Pleasant Grove.  Me and my brothers grew up in Arizona. I am in second grade. My favorite smoothie flavor is tropical fruit.  My favorite food is pasta.  I do not like to eat hot things.

808 Bounce

Last week it rained almost everyday so we were trying to get creative in our activities. Since every Wed. school gets out at 12:30 I decided to take the boys to 808 Bounce! It is a new activity in the mall. They had so much fun running, jumping, bouncing and smashing. There was a little boy and his mom visiting family from Columbus, and his mom and uncles thought it was so funny when Braxdon or Braydon would hit him so hard with the joust and knock him over. The laughed and laughed, good thing the boy never got hurt.. But they had a great time. Sorry the pictures are not to clear, but you get the point.
