Lucas Getting Baptized!

We are so excited that Lucas Alves has decided to be baptized and he has asked Brandon to perform it! What an honor!!!!

Brandon surprised Lucas by memorizing the baptism prayer in Portuguese. There were so many people supporting Lucas the whole entire stake center chapel was filled with Family and Friends. The spirit was so strong, it was such a special day!

Thanksgiving 2009!

Every year we usually go to the Sand Dunes for Thanksgiving, but this year we decided to stay home and spend it with friends that are away from their families!

The turkey was so good! Way to go babe! This was our first time ever cooking a turkey so I was a bit scared! But Brandon and I had so much fun cooking together! Might be the new tradition!!

80 Party!!

This October our Friends had an 80's party at their house. It was so much fun, I usually never go to things like this, but I am so glad we did!

Brandon and I rode the Harley because what is more 80's than a motorcycle!

And we were voted PROM KING AND QUEEN! How fun is that! I never went to my Prom so this was AWSOME!

Halloween 2009!

Halloween was so fun this year with all of the school activities. Each class does a parade around the school and the parents can come watch and take pictures. It was so fun.

Branson's preschool did not parade, but they got to go to Kahuku Elem. and watch the older kids. It was so fun to watch all of the different costumes! Here is Branson aka BATMAN waiting so patiently for the parade to start!

This year Braxdon was an Astronaut.

For the ward Party Brandon dressed in his Jack Sparrow costume and was the HIT of the party!

We are so blessed to have Solo living with us! She is so much fun to have around and she loves our boys as much as we do. Solo watched the boys while we were on our cruise and she did such a great job! I know I always worry and stress, but they had so much fun and were SAFE!

CRUISE!!!

This year for our business cruise we went threw the Panama Canal. And this itinerary was perfect because the first stop was Brandons Favorite place in the whole world. Half Moon Cay! He loves to roll around in the fine white sand and pretend he is a sand monster. I think he does it because it makes Becky Laugh! haha.. But we always have such a good time with our friends the Neeleys!!!

Preparing for the big Scare!

Brandon and Kayle remind me of two 16 year old boys when they get together. Always laughing, having so much fun and accomplishing the world!! And as you can see the Crab was the task at hand!

They were so Proud.. Way to go BOYS!

And then there was the SHARK!!!

One of the tours we took in Panama was to a village that you had to take an hour boat ride to. And by boat I mean hollowed out piece of log, with a home made motor attached to the back! But here are the sweet people of the village. They were so excited to see the visitors and show them some of their culture!

They gave tattoos that lasted a few days. But they cover themselves in this liquid for sun protection also! Very interesting.

Yes the ladies were topless! Wish I was that confident! haha

There was ONE Bathroom for 3 buses of People.. I think this pit stop took almost 2 hours.

The beginning of the Canal. What a great experience. It is amazing how these huge ships move in and out of the canal!

Why do we look so sexy? Well that is because it is 5 in the morning. That is when we approach the canal and it is a sight not to be missed!

We had such a great time! Always fun to get away and spend time together with Friends! Where will it be Next year?

Braxdon Gets Baptized!

Braxdon was baptized this month!! He was so excited to get baptized. He has worked so hard at preparing for this special day! I don't think he was as confident in his dad. He kept asking Brandon if he remembered the prayer because he didn't want him to be embarrassed if he forgot it.. haha Hawaii used to allow individual baptisms at the beach of your choice, but now they have changed it to once a month with the stake at the font in the stake center. We were excited about the opportunity to do it at the beach, but it was still a special day!!! Braxdon had so much support from friends and family! Brandons mom was able to come as well as My dad and Julie, also we were blessed to have Fa'a come all the way from New Zealand for this special day. I don't think that man has missed any special occasion for our family! Thank you to all those that supported Braxdon in his decision!!
