Family weekend Getaway!

This last weekend we went over to Big Island as a family.  We stayed at a beach home that Brandon's cousins from Utah, and California rented. Then On Saturday we went to the Hilton for one night. While we were there we got to go see the stars, went to a sea horse farm, Brandon and I went diving (well he dove and I snorkeled).  

Thanks to all the Jacobsmeyer family for such a fun family vacation.......

This is on our way up to see the stars at Mauna Kea.  Big Island is still growing with the active volcanoes. It was amazing to see all the lava rock.

Then the next day we went to a Sea Horse farm. It was very interesting to see how they grow. Also did you know the male is the one to carry the eggs and give birth... Yippy!!!!!

After we left the beach house we stayed at the Big Island Hilton. It was so beautiful, there were many pools, dolphins, and so much to do...

We had such a fun time we will defiantly do this vacation again!!!

Clouds

The other day I was in the Laundry room and I could hear the kids playing with dad on the trampoline.  They were playing Monster... Laughing and screaming.. Then it got very quiet, so I peeked out the window and could not resist taking a picture of them discussing what each cloud looked like! What fun!!!  The pictures might look a lot alike, but each one captures a different expression.. I love it!!

Beach DAY!!!

So after months of rain we finally have had a few beautiful sunny days. So Saturday we loaded up the jet skis and went to the beach.  We had a great day in the water and playing in the sand.  

The boys boogie boarded most of the time with their friends.

Aunty Solo and the kids found a coconut and cracked it open to see if it was sweet inside.. Nope!

Then she got real creative and made a game for the kids. She split them into teams and they had to run to the middle and grab the stick before the other team! 

The beach always seems to wear this little guy out. He was asleep before we even pulled away from the beach.

This little spice of life keeps us on our toes at all times.  His favorite time of the day is Bath time. I am sure you can see why...... Relaxing with his goggles on!!

New Years Eve

So I had lost my camera so all the New Years Eve pictures were gone... But WE FOUND IT!!!

So here is our great night with our friends the Falatea Family in Laie for New Years Eve... It was amazing... Food, drinks, music, even a live band!! They blocked off the street and had a huge party.  There were so many fireworks you could not breath or see to far down the sidewalk.  We had a great time brining in the new year!!!

Branson was so scared of all the fireworks, but he was brave enough to just hold the box of one for a quick picture.

More Lost Teeth

Today Braxdon decided both of his front teeth were ready to come out.  There is no rest for the tooth fairy around our house!!

It started with Braxdon and Dad wiggling the First tooth, then tying a piece of floss around it to pull! Wham it was out in a flash...

Then I hear Braxdon saying No dad, No Dad.. Then Brandon telling Braxdon to pull.. Then Wham the second tooth was out!!

Then of course Branson had to try it.. Stringing floss in between his teeth and then was happy to show me his set of pearly whites and floss!

Flu Season!

This weekend the flu hit our home. Brandon was sick Friday and Saturday, I had it Sunday, and Monday this is what I woke up too.. I could not resist taking the pictures.. I knew he was so sick, but his head in the toilet was so cute to me.. 

He just kept saying me tummy hurt, I need spit...

Glad everyone is feeling much better!!

Plasma Car!!

This year Santa brought the boys Plasma Cars.. They have been riding them all over the house. My hardwood floor is all chewed up.. hehe..

Happy Birthday!!

Just wanted to wish my man a happy Birthday.. The actual day was on Dec 27th..  I had planned the whole weekend out perfectly.... But as luck would have it, it was a disaster....

I called and booked the Hilton in town, and told them it was for a birthday and not to email the confirmation, but of course they did.. So Brandon got the email and just laughed..  I can never surprise him.  So we go to town and I had planned to take him to the Magic of Polynesia so after we ate we headed to the show and as we are paying for the tickets the power goes out.  Lightning hit the power plant and the entire island is now without power!!  So needless to say he would like a redo bday..  But after 19 hours of no power we were able to have cake and ice cream!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Finally Getting around to XMAS post!!

Our family Tradition is to open one present on Christmas Eve.... New Holiday PJS...

On Christmas eve the boys got to set up the new trampoline for the kids. Thanks to Brandon, Lucus, and Everton it is safe and sound for the kids to jump.  Watching these three trying it out was the best part!!

The boys were so happy!!! We have jumped everyday since!!!

Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful Year.  We were so blessed to have Grandma Simmons and Aunty Solo with us. Also Lucas Alves and Everton Prado from Brazil were able to come and spend xmas eve with us.  

We are so excited for the Adventures 2009 has in store!!!!
